Beaner Sipich Chandler, LMT
Beaner is a 1999 graduate of SSMT. She is a practicing massage therapist who specializes in neuromuscular therapy. She teaches myology & neuromuscular therapy at the school.
Jeff Hocker, LMT
Jeff, a graduate of the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy, has more than 10 years experience as a licensed massage therapist. He has also spent 10 years studying Gung Fu, a movement healing art. Jeff teaches neuromuscular therapy at SSMT. Jeff completed an advanced 500 hour certification program in Kinesis Myofacial Integration (KMI) in May 2006.
Katie Jones, LMT
Katie graduated from SSMT in 2001. She teaches Hydrotherapy and Swedish massage practicum and assists Swedish massage classes. Katie was the SSMT Admissions Director from 2003 until 2007.
Karen Partisch, LMT
Karen, a 2002 graduate of SSMT, teaches Practice Management, Ethics, and CranioSacral Therapy. In her private practice, Karen specializes in CranioSacral Therapy with people and horses. Karen is an active member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association and received their 2004 Chapter LMT of the Year award. Karen also received a Certificate of Appreciation from the American Red Cross for her volunteer efforts during the 2004 Hurricane season.
Marcia DesRosiers, RN, LMT
Marcia, a 2002 graduate, has been a registered nurse since 1981. As a nurse, she specialized in perinatology; as an LMT she now specializes in prenatal and postnatal massage. She teaches A&P, applied pathology, and recently became the Admissions Director.
Jenifer Koehn, BME, LMT
Jenifer graduated in 1991 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a bachelors degree in music education. After teaching band and general music for 11 years in the Wisconsin public school system, she
transformed her life and career by attending SSMT and graduating in 2002. In addition to maintaining a busy part-time massage practice, she is currently the finance director at SSMT, and teaches ethics, seated
massage, and practice management classes.
