Prospective students are encouraged to visit SSMT, tour the school and meet with the Admissions Director. During this Pre-enrollment Interview, the prospective student will have the program explained, will be able to examine the textbooks and will have any questions answered. This is also a good way to get a "feel" for the school to decide if SSMT is the right place for a particular student. A prospective student may also arrange, in advance, to sit in on a class.
Admission Requirements
1. Be at least 18 years of age.
2. Have a high school diploma, GED and/or college credit.
3. Complete the following enrollment procedures:
Enrollment Procedures
1. Submit a completed SSMT application.
2. Submit a copy of a high school diploma, GED, or college degree.
3. Complete a Pre-enrollment Interview with the Admissions Director.
4. Submit an SSMT Physician’s Statement, signed by a licensed physician.
5. Submit a $100 registration fee. 6. Complete all financial aid procedures, if the student is applying for aid
7. Complete an Enrollment Interview with one of the Directors.
The first step in the admissions process is the submission of an SSMT application. Upon acceptance, the student will receive a letter detailing the timetable for the remaining enrollment procedures, including payment of fees and the required interviews. Classes often fill up so students are encouraged to apply early. Late enrollment will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the Directors. Students who do not complete the financial aid procedures prior to enrollment may still apply for aid at any time prior to graduation. If they are offered and accept aid, their payment schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
